Even though God’s name is never mentioned in Esther, His fingerprints are everywhere. His providence is clear. Esther becoming queen, Mordecai overhearing the assassination plot, the king’s sleepless night—none of it was coincidence. God works behind the scenes, even when we can’t see it.

2. Courage in the Face of Fear

When Mordecai urged Esther to act, he said: “Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14). Her courage saved a nation.

Esther risked her life for her people. Sometimes, courage means stepping up—even when it feels scary.

God turned tragedy into triumph.

Haman, who plotted to destroy the Jews, was executed on the very gallows he built for Mordecai.
